How it works: speed from your log is differentiated into acceleration, then force = mass × acceleration + aerodynamic drag + rolling resistance. Power at the wheels is force × speed; crank power adds your drivetrain loss and the energy spent spinning up the engine. Assumes a flat road and no wind. ECU speed can read a few percent off, so treat results as an estimate and calibrate the weight and loss fields against a known dyno sheet if you have one. Best results come from a clean wide-open-throttle pull in 3rd or 4th gear.
